Gasthof Drexl Restaurant und Fruhstuckspension in Schondorf am Ammersee

So this year I spent a few days at Gasthof Drexl on business. I didn't have very high expectations because what should you expect for the room price. But I was surprised very positively. Very clean and tidy rooms. Not the newest facility, but that doesn't matter I think it has to be clean and affordable and you have more than met that and then the food and the hospitality. Many high-priced inns can learn from this. I will definitely spend a few days there with my family (if possible again).

I have no words to describe it! Doesn't work at all! Torn curtains, broken tiles - and that's just the beginning ...

I spent my birthday there. We were all thrilled. Super relaxed atmosphere, very very hospitable, delicious food, we slept great. Actually, I can write a lot more positive things .. But I don't have enough space. In short, we felt at home and would love to come back.

It is definitely worth going beyond the outskirts of Munich. at the Gasthof Drexl you get a mixture of Croatian and Bavarian cuisine and that even very tasty and large portions at reasonable prices (e.g. 8 cevapcici with side dishes for € 10.90). In addition to the standard ticket, there is also a day ticket. The ambience is also very nice. And not just the toilets are clean. Parking spaces are also easy to find here. The only downside: the regulars' table was VERY loud on both visits and you feel like you're in a village pub and not like a nice restaurant. The service could not divide his attention fair, the Stammtisch got much more of it than the other tables.

We had a wonderful meal with our three children and my Mum. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely recommended and we will visit again ?

Clean room, no AC, no WiFi and the WC is shared. The restaurant is wonderful I had the best beef steak ever also the breakfast was very good
